HOLMDEL, NJ – South Laurel Avenue (CR52), from Holland Road to State Route 35, is closed to all traffic and is expected to remain closed until early September.
“Due to repair work being conducted by New Jersey Transit at the rail Road Bridge on South Laurel Avenue, traffic must be detoured,” said Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Department of Public Works and Engineering. “The County understands the inconvenience the detours will have on motorists and local residents and we appreciate the patience of the traveling public while NJ Transit performs this work.”
South Laurel Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Holland Road to State Route 35 and open to only local traffic up until the point of the closure. All other motorists should follow the posted detours and expect travel delays throughout the entire project area.
From South Laurel Avenue, traffic will be directed either west onto Holland Road to Telegraph Hill Road to Bethany Road to State Route 35 or east onto Holland Road to King’s Highway to State Route 35.
