MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Middletown area youngsters can catch the wave of God’s awesome power at Surf Shack, Westminster Presbyterian Church’s (WPC) 2016 Vacation Bible School Program.

The free evening program, geared for kids between 5 and 10 years old will run from August 1st through the 4th, from 6:00-8:00 pm.  Each session includes a Bible lesson tailored to the program’s water and beach-related theme, music, crafts, games, and snacks. The program will be held at the WPC Campus at 94 Tindall Road in Middletown.

According to Lenita Gullman, WPC’s Director of Christian Education, the Surf Shack theme is a perfect fit for youngsters in this area and the evening program fits well into everyone’s busy daytime summertime activity schedule.

Vacation Bible School is designed to use the Bible to help instill and nurture positive Christian values in youngsters through interactive, fun activities.  This year’s program lessons will focus on the Baptism of Jesus, Jesus Calms the Storm, and Breakfast on the Beach.
