LONG BRANCH, NJ — The Monmouth County Park System is kicking off its brand new Seashore Scientist Drop-In Series at Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park, Ocean Avenue, Long Branch with What Makes an Ocean. Held from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 17 in the Activity Center, this free program invites area residents to explore the physical characteristics that define an ocean. During this interactive discussion led by a Park System Naturalist, participants will conduct hands-on experiments that illustrate scientific concepts. All materials are provided.
Other upcoming offerings in the series include Predator and Prey on Thursday, January 21 and The Hardiest Endure on Thursday, February 18. Both programs run from 6-7 p.m. and are free.
