MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Lincroft Presbyterian Church (lincroftpc.org) will host the annual greater Bayshore community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.

Clergy representing faiths across the Bayshore area will co-lead the service to celebrate the bounty of the season, the mosaic of faiths and our shared community partnership.

Co- leaders include LPC Pastor Diane Ford, Rabbi Lawrence Malenger, and Fatma Kilinc from the Peace Islands Institute,. The Muslim Call to Prayer will be sung, and a combined choir will fill the room with sounds of deep gratitude. All singers welcome to rehearse at 6:45 p.m. An offering will be collected for the Bayshore Lunch Program.

“It’s in the mosaic of faiths that we celebrate the harvest time of Thanksgiving and the blessings that abound both within in us and throughout our area,” notes Pastor Ford. “While each faith may celebrate in a different manner Thanksgiving is a theme that permeates all faiths and reminds us to be thankful for each day. The pain and violence in our world in recent days give this celebration an even more profound meaning. It is an honor and blessing to be together."

All are welcome to join the service.
