RED BANK, NJ – The Curchin Group, LLC, a mid-sized, full-service accounting firm based in Red Bank, N.J., announced today that on Tuesday, November 10th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. it will be hosting its 10th Annual Curchin Open, an indoor miniature golf tournament for charity. The tournament will take place indoors at Curchin’s Red Bank NJ office, as the company will transform the space into a 9-hole, fun-filled miniature golf course, open to both experienced and beginner miniature golfers.
Each year, all proceeds from the events go to two locally based nonprofit organizations. This year, Curchin has selected Lunch Break, Inc. and Monmouth Day Care Center, Inc. The goal of Lunch Break is to alleviate hunger and lead those they serve to self-sufficiency and healthier lifestyles. Monmouth Day Care is dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating environment for families seeking quality childcare without regard to race, religion, ethnicity or economic status.
Last year, with the support of generous corporate and individual sponsors, the 9th Annual Curchin Open raised $15,000 for Habcore, Inc. and The Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore. Since the event started in 2005, the firm has raised more than $120,000. Curchin is offering sponsorship opportunities to local businesses that would like to help the selected charities as well as raise their profile in the community.
“We are excited to be hosting our 10th Annual Curchin Open. We’ve been very pleased with the turnout the past 10 years, and this year marks a big milestone for us. To celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we have many surprises planned along with our great gift items,” said Curchin Group partner Peter Pfister. “This year, our main goal is to raise $15,000 or more funds and awareness for two special charities in need.”
