FREEHOLD, NJ - A joint investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and Aberdeen Police Department is in progress after a 22-year-old Old Bridge man was found dead in a parking lot in the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen Township.

Aberdeen Township Police responded to a 911 call at 9:44 p.m. on September 13, 2015, reporting a young deceased male in the area of 2 Ocean Boulevard, a parking lot in the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen. Upon arrival patrols located an individual who had sustained gunshot wounds and was obviously deceased.

The victim was identified as William H. Karecki.

No arrests have been made at this time.
