mu hawks little silver baseball 2015WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ - On Sunday, May 17th the 13 and 14-year-old recreation baseball players from Little Silver traveled to Monmouth University for a game on the college campus in West Long Branch, New Jersey – Home of the Monmouth Hawks. 

The Little Silver Yankees beat the Little Silver Mets in an extra-inning thriller! It was the experience of a lifetime for the thirty families that will always remember the special day.  The boys arrived early and took the field on a beautiful, 80-degree, sunny morning. 

Rick Brandt, Little Silver’s Baseball Coordinator organized the experience and umpired the baseball game.
