LINCROFT, NJ —  Gardening is fun, social and good exercise.  It’s also a great way to volunteer in the parks.  The Monmouth County Park System is offering drop-in volunteering (ages 14 & up) April through October from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at several park locations:

Dorbrook Recreation Area, Colts Neck - Tuesdays

Thompson Park, Lincroft - Wednesdays

Huber Woods Park, Middletown - Thursdays

Holmdel Park, Holmdel - Thursdays (ages 16 & up)

Deep Cut Gardens, Middletown - Wednesdays & Saturdays (ages 16 & up)

To get started, all new garden volunteers are encouraged to attend an optional Tree and Shrub Pruning workshop.  Choose the date that you would like to attend.
