LINCROFT, NJ – Hundreds of high-end pianos, guitars, violins and other musical instruments will be on sale to the public from Friday, Jan. 9 to Sunday, Jan. 11 at the Brookdale Community College Performing Arts Center in Lincroft, NJ.

The gently used instruments, from manufacturers such as Pramberger, Yamaha, Seiler, Knabe and Roland, come with factory warranties and interest-free financing, if necessary.

The sale is part of a new creative partnership between Brookdale and the Rockley Family Foundation, a non-profit foundation established to promote music education.

The foundation loans new instruments to Brookdale music students on an annual basis. At the end of the year, those instruments and others offered through similar programs across the country are sold to the public to raise funds for the following year’s program.

Instruments on sale this year include grand pianos, baby grand pianos, digital player grand pianos, upright pianos, digital pianos, acoustic and electric guitars and orchestral strings. Most of the instruments are less than a year old.

The event will begin with an appointment-only presale on Friday, Jan. 9 and Saturday, Jan. 10 at Brookdale’s Performing Arts Center, 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738. To secure an appointment time or for more information call (732) 224-2890. The sale will be open to the general public on Sunday, Jan. 11 from 12 to 5 p.m.
