John Schneider, prominent video documentary producer in the New Jersey Bayshore area, is actively searching for former military personnel who worked at either the Navesink Military Reservation (1942-1948) or the Highlands Air Force Station (1950-1966).

"Interviews with the people who were there will be vital to painting the best picture of what life was like during the Cold War," explained Schneider. "This entire area was so important to our nation's defense against potential enemy attacks."

Schneider has produced hundreds of documentaries about the history of the New Jersey Bayshore on such topics as the Revolutionary War, slavery in Monmouth County and clamming in Raritan Bay. His videos, which have been viewed more than a million times, may be seen at JerseyBayshore.com..
