Robbinsville, NJ…The American Heart Association and American Stroke Association are seeking volunteers to help with the Shoreline Heart Walk scheduled for Saturday, September 27th at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, NJ.
Why volunteer? Life is Why! The American Heart Association needs the time and talent of volunteers to help create a healthier world, free of heart disease and stroke—our community’s No. 1 and No. 4 leading causes of death.
Depending on your capabilities and interests, there’s a volunteer opening that’s right for you. With a variety of opportunities available including helping with registration, passing out water, serving as a performer or sharing information throughout the day, the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association need your help. To volunteer or to learn more, call 609.208.0020 or visit www.ShorelineHeartWalk.org.
The Shoreline Heart Walk, sponsored nationally by Subway and locally supported by Meridian Health and Barnabas Health, is a community celebration that serves as a signature fundraising event for the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. The funds raised support research, education and advocacy efforts focused on cardiovascular health and wellness. The Shoreline Heart Walk is also supported by the Asbury Park Press.
