PORT MONMOUTH— Come discover the fish, crabs and other creatures that live in the bay! From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, June 23-August 22, the Monmouth County Park System is hosting Seining at Bayshore Waterfront Park, at the park in Port Monmouth. Join Park System Naturalists as they seine the water and identify the aquatic creatures caught. Due to beach replenishment work, this year seining will be held on the beach across from Monmouth Cove Marina. Participants should park in the East Pews Creek parking lot on Old Port Monmouth Road. Designed for individuals and families, this free program is open to ages 5 and up (under 18 with adult). Interested groups can call 732-872-7369 to arrange an outing.
