PHOTO: The Infernos Band, recognized as America’s #1 Show Band, will be performing a benefit concert on Wednesday, March 26, to support The Community YMCA’s mission to ensure that all children have the opportunity to learn, grow, thrive in Y preschool and before and afterschool programs.
Shrewsbury, NJ – Enjoy a fun night of music with “The Infernos,” recognized as one of the best entertainments bands in the nation, as they perform a benefit concert for The Community YMCA on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. The concert will take place from 7-10 p.m. at the Matawan Municipal Complex Gymnasium, 201 Broad Street in Matawan.
The Infernos Band was founded by Bobby Wells in 1977. The lead singer is Matawan resident Kenny Simmons, a former member of the three-time Grammy winning group, The Commodores. The band has performed for President Barack Obama, New Jersey governors and for audiences across New Jersey and around the world.
Concert tickets are now available for $25 for adults ($30 at the door), and $15 for children ages 12 to 18. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Y at 201 Broad Street in Matawan or by phone at 732.566.9266. Free babysitting will be available for children ages 2 ½ to 12.
Proceeds from the concert will support The Community YMCA’s mission to ensure that all children have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive through Y programs such as preschool and before and afterschool programs.
