Annual Rock N’ Raise fundraiser benefits American Cancer Society
WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ — Monmouth University’s student-run television station, Hawk TV, and student-run radio station, WMCX, will be holding Rock N’ Raise, on Friday, February 21. Rock N’ Raise is an annual fundraising broadcast that helps the American Cancer Society via the Relay for Life event held every spring on Monmouth University’s campus. The event is a battle of the bands concert to help raise money for The American Cancer Society and Relay for Life.
The show is broadcast live on and co-produced by WMCX., it is also shown live on the campus TV network, HawkTV. The event will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until 4 p.m. It will be held at Monmouth University in the Monty Television Studio in the Jules L. Plangere Jr. Center for Communication building. Tickets are $3 in advance and $5 at the door.
