bayshore hospital hyperbaric theodoreHolmdel, NJ – The Center for Wound Healing at Bayshore Community Hospital is proud to announce the graduation of its first Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) patient. When Theodore, of Neptune, returned from his trip to Paris, he didn’t think his next trip would be to the hospital. However, after an infection on his toe became too severe for traditional treatments, he turned to the expertise of Gina Lagnese, DPM and the Center for Wound Healing at Bayshore Community Hospital, as the first patient to undergo hyperbaric oxygen therapy at Bayshore's new Center.Theodore’s wound completely healed with zero complications. A result the Center expects to see in many more patients.

The new Center for Wound healing opened in August 2013 in a larger, state of the art environment which provides patients with more privacy and comfort than ever before.  The multi-disciplinary panel of physicians includes general surgery, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, and podiatry.
