FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Human Relations Commission (MCHRC) will present its fourth annual Earl Thomas Teasley Humanitarian Award at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014.
The recipient will be Pastor Terrence K. Porter, Sr. of Pilgrim Baptist Church, Red Bank.

Pastor Porter has received numerous awards and recognitions and serves on a variety of  advisory boards. He has promoted a community ideology that "We can achieve more in partnerships - rather than in isolation."

Examples of his direct service to the community include

** President, Affordable Housing Corporation of Red Bank, N.J. 

** Established Cedar Crossing Townhouse Project 36 units phase 1 (low income home ownership) Red Bank, N.J.

** Is in partnership with Lunch Break of Red Bank

** Delivers meals to those who are homebound.

** Provides financial and resources support to Haiti by leading a missionary team to aid those affected   by disasters.
