EATONTOWN, NJ - Love is in the air once again at the Monmouth County SPCA Valentine’s Brunch.  The yearly event is being held at McLoone’s Pier House at Pier Village, Long Branch on Sunday February 9th at 11AM. With or without a sweetheart, this event is a great way to share your love with the homeless animals of the Monmouth County SPCA (MCSPCA).

Last year’s SOLD OUT Brunch was the MCSPCA’s biggest and best yet, raising more than $25,000 for the animals in their care.

The event will honor longtime Monmouth County SPCA employee Dennis Bailey.  Dennis will be retiring after 48 years of laughs, lasting memories and lives saved.  “Whenever I go in Monmouth County and mention the MCSPCA, the first question I receive is about Dennis.  It’s no wonder as he has represented the heart and soul of this organization for almost five decades,”   remarked Jerry Rosenthal, MCSPCA President and CEO.

The buffet brunch is $75 per person and includes one Mimosa or a Bloody Mary (cash bar and valet parking are available). Emceeing the brunch this year will be 95.9 The Rat’s Jimmy Steal.   There will be a huge chance auction with incredible prizes for people and their pets, a “Smooch a Pooch” Kissing Booth and more surprises!  The Melissa Chill Duo with Rob Dye will be performing live for all in attendance.

50-50 tickets can be purchased prior to or during the Brunch for $10 each.  The winner will be drawn the following day on Monday, February 10 at 2PM at the MCSPCA Homeward Bound Adoption Center in Eatontown (winner needs not be present).  One lucky winner walked away with over $15,000!

Seating is limited, so don’t miss your opportunity to attend one of the MCSPCA’s most anticipated events of the year.  For reservations or additional information, please contact Stephanie Attaway via email at This email address is being protected from spambots.
