Monmouth County, NJ - The holiday season is a special time of the year that many of us cherish, but there are many families in our community who will not have gifts to open, warm clothes on their backs or food on their tables to eat. The Salvation Army Red Bank Corps strives to meet the needs of those who are often forgotten. Each year it distributes gifts, clothing, food and toys to hundreds of families, impacting the lives of nearly a thousand children.
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, civic clubs, companies and friends of The Salvation Army, Angel Tags are taken bearing the names of children from birth to age sixteen that include the child’s name, gender, size and wish list of that particular child.
The Angel Tree program offers a way to directly impact the lives of thousands of children during a time when expectations are high, but times are tough.
Unfortunately there are still 150 children who are still unsponsored and we need your help. Sponsor one of more children. All you need to do is tell us the age, gender and amount of children you would like to “adopt” and we’ll supply the rest. Bring all gifts unwrapped back to The Salvation Army on 180 Newman Springs Road by December 12th to ensure your child receives their gifts.
By giving you will truly on the receiving end of helping 276 families right in your community. You may never see the face of the person you helped, but you can be assured that you will give joy to those who truly need it most.
