Will Benefit HOMES for our TROOPS & Honor Service of Veterans

Hazlet, N.J. - To honor the loyal service and sacrifices of veterans everywhere, the Red Oak Diner & Lounge will be hosting “A Salute To Patriotism” Auto Show & Car Cruise on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 12-4 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, November 10. The restaurant is located at 2973 Highway 35 North, Hazlet, N.J. 07730.
The event is a benefit for the organization HOMES for our TROOPS (HFOT), a national non-profit which builds homes for veterans who have been wounded or disabled during their service to the nation. Many people are familiar with the HFOT handicapped-accessible home built for Sergeant Michael Minard in Union Beach, N.J.
Registration is open to all vehicles including classic, antique, collector, custom, stock, import, luxury, muscle and hot rod cars and trucks. Prizes will be awarded in all classes. Military vehicles are especially welcome along with military personnel and veterans organizations. Vehicle registration is $15 in advance or $20 onsite. Checks or exact change are requested. Registration fees will be donated to the beneficiary, HOMES for our TROOPS.
The public is invited free-of-charge to this patriotic event featuring amazing cars and live musical entertainment by DJ Terrence of 3 in 1 Entertainment. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and sausage along with assorted beverages will be available for purchase at the outdoor barbecue.
