Workshop Oct. 9 at County Connection
NEPTUNE, NJ –The Monmouth County Office on Aging will present a workshop entitled "Financial Security for Seniors" on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 pm at the Monmouth County Connection, 3544 State Highway 66, Neptune.
For seniors and soon-to-be-seniors, this seminar will present an overview of the growing challenges of financial security and the emotional impact that a lack of financial security has on the senior population. Learn about the do’s and don’ts concerning the creation of estate wills and obstacles you and your family may face if you don’t have a will. If you have any questions regarding your financial future this presentation is a must.
The workshop is free and open to all MonmouthCounty residents, but registration is required. To register, please call 732-303-2828.
The Monmouth County Connection is located at 3544 State Highway 66 in Neptune in the strip mall adjacent to the Home Depot and across the street from Walmart. This new office of Monmouth County government offers a variety of services including passports, passport photos, free notary public, veterans’ IDs, election/voter information, senior and veterans’ services, public access computers and more.
The office is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The CountyConnection is under the direction of County Clerk M. Claire French and is supported by the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
