Saturday

UNION BEACH: 11 a.m. service and parade; Veterans Memorial Park, Beachfront Florence Avenue and Front Street; 1 p.m. parade begins at Borough Hall, 650 Poole Ave; American Legion Raritan Post 23 will assist Union Beach Post 321 with colors; 732-264-9457.

MATAWAN: 1:50p.m. Parade and ceremony. St Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, 172 Freneau Ave.; steps off from the church and ends at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony; 732-566-3898.

MONMOUTH BEACH: 2 p.m. Ceremony. Wells Fargo Bank, 33 Beach Road; unveiling of the Monmouth Beach Veterans Association Service Honor Roll; Lt. Col. Peter J. Mahoney will be the guest speaker; 732-222-8570.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS: 11:00 A.M. Parade and ceremony; begins at Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor and marches along First Avenue.  Memorial Service by the C. Eugene Allen Post #141 American Legion at Veterans Memorial Park, First Avenue immediately following parade.

COLTS NECK: 10:30 a.m. Parade and ceremony; begins at Heyers Mill Road and marches to Memorial Park for the gravesite ceremony; refreshments, music, face painting at Fire House #2, Conover Road; 732-780-6666.

HAZLET: 10 a.m. Ceremony; Veterans Memorial Park, 1776 Union Ave.; refreshments will be served inside the Cullen Center after the ceremony; 732-739-0653.

HOLMDEL: 11 a.m. Ceremony; New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial, 1 Memorial Lane; retired Brig. Gen. Vincent E. Stahl is the speaker; induction of five veterans into the memorial’s “In Memory” program; 732-335-0033.

LONG BRANCH: 9 a.m. Ceremony; Fireman’s Field, Overlook and Woodgate Avenue. 9:45 a.m. Ceremony; Long Branch West End Beach; the mayor and council members will place a wreath in the surf honoring those who gave their lives at sea; 10:15 a.m. service at Jerry Morgan Park for those who served in Vietnam; 11 a.m. City Hall, Broadway, essay contest awards followed by open house at VFW #2140, Willow Avenue; 732-222-7000.

MIDDLETOWN:  9:00 a.m. Ceremony; Croydon Hall, 900 Leonardville Rd at the World War II monument. The brief service is led by the commander, chaplain, officers and members of the American Legion Post 338, including the sons of the Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary.
