MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The GlamourGals Foundation (GG) is collaborating with Assemblywoman Caroline Casagrande and her program, the Young Women’s Leadership Institute, to impact young women in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The Young Women’s Leadership Institute, in its third year, focuses on empowering young women and creating leaders. Twelve high school juniors from Monmouth County will be selected to work with a female leader and the GlamourGals Foundation to integrate community development initiatives.
"This program is a great way to prepare young women in New Jersey to be tomorrow's leaders," said Assemblywoman Casagrande.
GlamourGals is honored to be selected as a partner of this amazing program.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for GlamourGals to work with Assemblywoman Casagrande to bring our foundation’s mission to more communities in Monmouth County,” said Kavita Mehra, vice president of GlamourGals. “We are excited to meet these teens, who will be creating GG chapters at their high schools and volunteering at local senior homes to provide companionship and beauty makeovers to the women there.”
This is also an opportunity for GlamourGals to continue building a presence in Monmouth County. GlamourGals serves young women in nearly 20 high schools in towns and cities across New Jersey, including several in Monmouth County, like Shrewsbury, Little Silver and Red Bank. Through this partnership with Assemblywoman Casagrande and the Young Women’s Leadership Institute, GlamourGals seeks to further invest in the success of young women living in New Jersey, helping to build confidence and strengthen leadership skills to better prepare them for their professional futures.
