UPPER FREEHOLD— Celebrate springtime at Historic Walnford, Walnford Road, Upper Freehold, during its Bluebell Festival from 11am-5pm on Sunday, April 14.  Filled with music, games and fun, the day incorporates blue into everything from tales spun by the storyteller to bluegrass music performed by Heidi Olsen & the Night.  Family-friendly activities include Frisbee golf, geocaching and the chance to try the Park System’s climbing wall. Visitors can also explore with the Roving Park System Naturalist, see mill demonstrations, and meet with a beekeeper. Entries into the Quilt Block Challenge will be on display as well as an Historic Quilts Exhibit.
