This fun and interactive health fair for kids of all ages rocks even harder in 2013!

Red Bank, NJ – March 29, 2013 – Riverview Medical Center is excited to announce it’s time once again for kids to rock Riverview! On Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., mom, dad, grandparents, aunts, and uncles are encouraged to bring the kids to this truly fun health fair and learn more about the extensive capabilities of the Pediatric Care Center at Riverview Medical Center, affiliated with K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital and the Meridian Pediatric Network.

Join us for an afternoon of rockin’ fun and educational, health-conscious activities that even adults will enjoy. Try your hand at surgery (gummy bear surgery that is), learn the importance of hand washing with funky glow-in-the-dark germs, meet members of Meridian Pediatric Network’s Pawsitive Action Team, and much more!

Also new for this year is a LIVE performance by Miss. Melissa’s Aardvarks! Melissa Chill is a singer-songwriter who has been teaching children’s music for almost 15 years in Monmouth County. Her Music for Aardvarks and Other Mammals has been on Jack’s Big Music Show on Nickelodeon Noggin Network. For more information and some videos go to www.missmelissasaardvarks.com.

In addition, Hopscotch, from the Pawsitive Action Team at K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center will even make a special appearance. Bring out the inner rock star in your child and don't miss this unique opportunity to a make healthy habits a fun topic! Riverview Kids Rock is just one of the exciting activities planned to celebrate the Meridian Pediatric Network in 2013.
