Come Out and Support the Importance of Mammography
Neptune, NJ – Planning, promoting, and participating in a community-wide event; volunteering and giving back to your community; supporting the women in your life - if you have a passion for any of the above, Paint the Town Pink needs you!
For the past seven years, Paint the Town Pink has raised awareness of the importance of annual mammography across Monmouth County with the help of our surrounding pink towns. In 2013, Meridian Health is pleased to bring this community-wide effort to more than 15 towns in Monmouth and Ocean counties!
Join past, present, and future Paint the Town Pink volunteers, 94.3 The Point, and Townsquare Media to learn more about how you can get involved and help us kick-off our 2013 event! Lou Russo of “Lou and Liz in the Morning” will be there with giveaways, prizes, and refreshments will be served.
Our Pink Mixer will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013, 6:30 p.m. at 94.3 The Point Radio Station (Townsquare Media), 8 Robbins Street, Toms River, NJ 08753.
Paint the Town Pink is a community-wide effort to raise awareness of the importance of annual mammography and encourage women in our community, aged 40 and older, to have their annual mammogram; raise money to provide underserved women in our community; and to make a difference in the lives of women in our community.
With the expansion of Paint the Town Pink, 2013 will cast a wider pink hue across Monmouth and Ocean counties. What began as an idea seven years ago has been transformed into a grassroots initiative that is changing lives in very tangible and meaningful ways.
