Business resources and more in new publication

FREEHOLD, NJ – There is a new tool in Monmouth County’s economic development tool kit.

“The just-released Grow Monmouth Guide is the latest addition to the county’s collection of business oriented services and tools,” Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone said. “To find out what services and resources are available to help them grow their businesses, business owners and managers should download or pick-up a copy of the guide.”

“The county’s Economic Development staff will be using the guide to attract, retain and grow businesses while they continue to work with our many partners to get the word out that Monmouth County is the place to grow your business,” Arnone said. “These tools help the county to retain and grow businesses while creating jobs and attracting new businesses.”

The 40-page, magazine-style guide illustrates the county’s quality of life and the resources available to help businesses grow.

The guide spotlights the county’s Grow Monmouth initiative which includes a Business Building Tool Kit. Items in the county’s economic development tool kit are: competitive information research, industry information, lead generation lists, research tools, website optimization and demographic information.

The Economic Development resources also include ways to help identify and deliver financing and business incentive programs, regulatory and project coordination assistance and site selection assistance.

“In these tough economic times and as many businesses struggle to recover following Super storm Sandy, we must continue to find creative ways to promote the county without incurring additional costs” said Director Arnone.

The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders authorized the publication of the book at no cost to the county.  The guide will be distributed through chambers of commerce, business associations, state and local partners and email blasts. It is also available upon request. The guide is available in paper and electronic formats.
