Vehicle Donation Program Lets You Donate Vehicles, Assist Those with Lung Disease
CAMP HILL, PA – Now that the holidays are here, another season is on the horizon – tax season. As many people start looking for tax deductions, the American Lung Association offers a possibility for one more. The Vehicle Donation Program, an ongoing program of the American Lung Association, lets anyone donate unneeded or unused vehicles – cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, motor homes or boats, and possibly earn a tax deduction.
“Our Vehicle Donation Program is fast and easy for anyone that needs to get rid of an unwanted vehicle,” says B. Derek Shaw, Development Director of the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic. “All of the proceeds fund our mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.”
The American Lung Association provides donors with a fair market value range for their vehicle and is responsible for logistics. For those who are interested in donating their vehicle, the only requirement is to make a call and within a few days, vehicles can be towed.
To donate a vehicle, call the Vehicle Donation Hotline at 1-800-LUNG-USA ext. 3 or visit www.donateyourcar.com.
