LINCROFT, NJ — On Saturday and Sunday, November 10-11, the Monmouth County Park System is hosting Parelli Prevention Preparation – Reality Based Emergency Preparedness Training for Horses and Owners at the Sunnyside Equestrian Center, Middletown-Lincroft Road, Lincroft.   Held from 9am-5pm each day, the workshop combines Parelli Natural Horsemanship techniques with basic equine emergency rescue and trailer safety to help owners prevent and respond to life-threatening situations.

The clinic uses multi-media presentations, hands-on demonstrations and practice exercises.  Its goal is to prepare owners to help their horses and rescuers during situations such as an overturned tractor, barn fire or injury when riding. Owners may attend with or without their horses.  The cost is $400 per person and horse or $165 per person without horse.  For more information or to register, please visit or call (732) 842-4000.  For persons with hearing impairment, the TTY/TDD number is 711.
