Visitors are invited to meet with members of the Jersey Shore Rose Society and learn how to cultivate this delicate flower.  Other groups sending representatives include the Garden State Daylily Growers, the Deep Cut Bonsai Society and Master Composters of the Monmouth County Planning Board. The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Monmouth County will also be on hand to help children pot a seedling to take home and provide horticultural advice.

Deep Cut Gardens is the Park System’s site dedicated to the home gardener. The 54 acres of gardens and greenhouses are planned as a living catalog of cultivated and native plant materials to be observed through the seasons. Its renovated rose parterre, originally built in 1935, features 52 varieties of roses with over 180 bushes.
