Come Out and Support the Importance of Annual Mammography

“Pink Bank, NJ” – In less than two weeks, Riverview Medical Center will host their sixth annual “Paint the Town Pink.” This yea         event hosted by Paint the Town Pink “An Unplanned Plan: An Evening with Bill Rancic.”

Take part in an evening to remember on Monday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Count Basie Theatre in “Pink Bank” for an engaging evening with Bill, author, entrepreneur, and husband. With warmth, humor, and humility, Bill will candidly share his story of his marriage and family, his career, and his wife's recent breast cancer diagnosis and all the unplanned things in life that happen when you are busy making other plans. This will be an evening to remember!

Tickets are on sale through the Count Basie Theatre Box Office. General admission tickets are only $39. Also don’t miss the special VIP premium tickets for $100, which includes premium seating at the event, a meet and greet cocktail reception with Bill Rancic immediately following the event, and a special Paint the Town Pink gift bag. Complementary Event - Enjoy Community Day by bringing the whole family out for a day of fun! Featuring many of the same pink “zones” families have come to expect, as well as exciting new ones, this year’s event will feature: Kids’ Fun & Games, Pink it Yourself Man Cave and Rockin’ Country Thunder 106.3 to name a few.

Join us for an informative and unique discussion from a panel of Riverview Medical Center physicians. Topics of discussion around breast health will include the importance of annual mammography, diagnostic testing, treatment options, and plastic surgery. Our panelists include Bokran Won, M.D., medical director of the Women’s Center at Riverview Medical Center, Debra Camal, M.D., medical director of the breast program for Meridian Cancer Care, and Peter Hetzler, M.D., plastic surgeon affiliated with Riverview Medical Center. Thursday, May 10:

  • Girls Night Out (7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.) Registration Required

Hosted by The Downtown, Pink Bank

Girls Night Out will be rockin’ at The Downtown again this year! Grab your “breast friends” for pink cocktails and treats with live music by the Mike Dalton band. Stick around after 10:00 p.m. to experience The Downtown’s Rock and Roll Karaoke. Make sure to wear your favorite pink outfit! Tickets are $60.

Saturday, May 12:

  • Zumbathon® Event for Paint the Town Pink (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) Registration Required

Hosted by Bayshore Community Hospital in partnership with Meridian Fitness and Wellness and the town of Pinkdel

Come join us at this new Pink event for a 90-minute Zumba workout. Whether you’re a Zumba professional or trying it for the first time, come out and experience this fun exercise phenomenon! There will also be giveaways, refreshments, activities for kids, and also education on the Pink mission and the importance of annual mammography. Tickets are $10 before May 7 and $15 after.
