FREEHOLD, NJ - As part of its “Historically Speaking” lecture series, Monmouth County Historical Association is pleased to welcome Jess LeVine to speak on Sunday, April 22 at 2:00 pm.   The talk will include discussion about those who gave their all, veterans’ accounts and memories of their tours and the Monmouth home front during the war years.  The lecture will be held at the MCHA Museum and Library, located at 70 Court Street, Freehold, NJ 07728 (this is a venue change from a previously published flyer).

Jesse LeVine has long been a Professor of History at Brookdale Community College teaching courses in American, World and New Jersey History.  He currently serves on the educational advisory board of Brookdale’s International Center and is a trustee of the New Jersey Vietnam Memorial and Museum.  During his graduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara and at Rutgers, he specialized in Intellectual and Social History, where he developed his interest in the reform movements of the 1800s.
