LINCROFT, NJ — Calling all gardeners! The Monmouth County Park System seeks volunteers to help garden at several Park System locations. Those interested in learning more about this rewarding hobby are invited to attend a free workshop on Pruning Trees and Shrubs at the Thompson Park Visitor Center, 805 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft. The workshop will cover correct pruning techniques, tools and safety. Open to ages 14 and up, sessions will be held on Tuesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 19 from 9am-12noon.

Volunteers will enjoy the flexibility of the Park System’s Drop-In Volunteer Days. Held mid-April through October, volunteers are welcome to show up at their convenience and participate.
