Freeholders discussing 2012 spending plan 

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Board of Chosen Freeholders will hold the first of many budget meetings at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, in the conference room on the second floor of the Hall of Records. It will be the first of several meetings in preparation for the Feb. 23 introduction of the 2012 county budget.

The Board of Chosen Freeholders also takes the budget “on the road” and holds two meetings in the county libraries. The budget meetings are as follows:

  • 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, also in the Hall of Records. The freeholders will continue to hear departmental budget presentations from staff.
  • 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, at the Library Headquarters, Symmes Drive, Manalapan, there will be a PowerPoint overview of the county budget followed by public comment.
  • 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at the Eastern Branch Library in Shrewsbury, there will be a PowerPoint overview of the county budget followed by public comment.

All budget meetings are open to the public.
