SHREWSBURY, NJ - Who is the nation’s largest employer, with more than 4.4 million jobs? The federal government!

The Career Information Center at the Eastern Branch Library in Shrewsbury will present a free program on how to look for these jobs with online job search tools, at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 23.

Some 1.4 million federal jobs are searchable via the www.usajobs.gov website, including civilian jobs in the military branches and the Senior Executive Service. Those jobs NOT searchable include uniformed military,  postal service, and jobs in dozens of “Excepted Service” Agencies such as the CIA, FBI, Amtrak and the FAA.
