to Raise Money for Manna House

RED BANK, NJ - The WGIRLS Coastal NJ has set the date for their 2nd annual Hope for the Holidays Fundraiser to benefit Manna House in Cliffwood Beach. It is being held at Taste in Red Bank on December 1 from 7 to 10 p.m. The organization is currently selling tickets online and collecting donations in the form of gift certificates, wine, gift baskets and more for a Chinese auction and wine pull. (The wine pull is a draw where for $5 a cork, attendees pull a cork out of a bowl to try and get a winning number that matches up to the several wines ranging from $10 to $50.)

Attendees will hear and dance to the live entertainment of acoustic foursome Captain Eric and the Shipwrecks, try their luck at winning several great door prizes and wine, plus more. New this year -- they will have their portrait in the form of a black and white character illustration drawn by artist Melissa Murphy for $10.

“This year we are especially excited to raise money for Manna House,” said WGIRLS Coastal NJ co‐founder and president, Jessica Gale. “Homelessness is a problem in Monmouth County and the money we raise will go toward helping give the children who live in Manna House a holiday party and gifts that their mother's are unable to afford.”

The cost to attend is $40 before November 15 and $45 thereafter which includes: a three hour open bar, one ticket for entry to win the door prize (a $100 gift certificate donated by Bistro by the Beach in Spring Lake), live entertainment and $2 off a character illustration. Bring a small toy for a child and get a second ticket for the door prize drawing for free. Tickets can be purchased online at or at the door.
