To support the Y’s Holiday Drive, community members can call to adopt a family or child, and help provide new clothes, toys or gift donations from their wish list. Donations will be matched with local YMCA families from now until December 17. Local businesses can support by hosting an “Angel Tree” in their lobby to help provide gifts for families in need.

Recipients of the program are carefully screened. Families are located through The Community YMCA’s Counseling and Social Services, which serves more than 1,600 children, adults and families each year with counseling, foster care support and mentoring programs. Gifts are personally delivered, and all donations are tax deductible.

Each year, many local friends and businesses support the Y’s annual holiday drive, and make wishes come true for local families.

“The Y’s Adopt-a-Family program is such a worthwhile effort, and our staff is pleased to assist the Y each year in providing gifts for families that are struggling during the holiday season,” said Richard Maser, President of Maser Consulting, Red Bank.
