MIDDLETOWN, N.J,  – The ABCCL looks to kick-off yet another successful season this summer with the opening games set to start next Tuesday, May 24th. Opening the season will be four games played at separate locations for what expects to be yet another exciting season of competitive college baseball.

The Langan Baseball Falcons will host the Toms River Hurricanes at Matawan High School with first pitch set for 5:45pm. The Protocall Starz look to defend their 2010 championship title as they visit the Monmouth Monarchs at St. John Vianney High School in Holmdel starting at 5:45pm. The NJ Marlins will host the Jackson Thunder at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park with first pitch set for 5:45pm as well. The final season opener game will be held at MountainView Park at 5:30pm where the Freehold Clippers look to take on the Middlesex Rays.

Following the season opener, the ABCCL will continue to host games at various locations throughout New Jersey every Tuesday and Thursday night along with double-headers on Sunday afternoons. Toward the end of the season, the ABCCL will also hold an annual charity game with the NJ State Troopers in order to raise money for Camp Quality New Jersey, the official charity of the ABCCL.

With the season almost underway, the ABCCL is still looking for a couple of families to serve as host families for out of state athletes to allow them to compete and play the game they love.
