H. Robb Levinsky Hosts Three-Part Series in Celebration of New Jersey’s Month of the Horse

SHREWSBURY, NJ  – H. Robb Levinsky of Kenwood Racing, one of the leading thoroughbred racing stables at Monmouth Park, will help the Eastern Branch of the Monmouth County Library celebrate “Month of the Horse” in June with three unique seminars.  Free and open to the public, Kenwood’s founder & racing manager will offer guests an insider’s perspective into the various aspects of the thoroughbred industry.

“I love educating the public about the intricacies of this exciting and dynamic sport,” commented Levinsky.  “The Eastern Branch of the Monmouth County Library has helped us plan three great seminars that will engage and entertain experienced race fans, horse enthusiasts and newcomers to the sport alike.”

Every June, New Jersey celebrates the Month of the Horse to remind residents of the official State Animal’s positive contributions to New Jersey.  Kenwood Racing’s speaking engagements have been planned in accordance with the celebratory month.  In addition, Bill Denver of Equi-Photo, Monmouth Park’s official track photographer, will have his work on display at the library throughout the month of June.

This three-part series will begin with “Thoroughbreds 101: An Introduction to Thoroughbred Ownership,” on Thursday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m. It will continue with “An Insider’s Look at Thoroughbred Racing,” on June 16 at 7:00 p.m., and conclude with the panel discussion “The Status of Horse Racing in New Jersey”,  hosted by Robb Levinsky, on June 23, also at 7:00 p.m. Each seminar will cover diverse and exciting topics and will be approximately 90 minutes in length, including ample time for audience questions.  Light refreshments will be served.
