BRICK, NJ - Dream Factory of the Jersey Shore, a non-profit that grants dreams to critically or chronically ill children ages 3-18 in Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex counties, is holding fundraising events to make dreams come true.

They are selling tickets for a BlueClaws game on July 23 at First Energy Park in Lakewood. Tickets are $10.00.

The First Annual Softball Marathon will be held on Saturday, August 27th from 9 a.m. until10 p.m. at Drum Point Park, Brick Blvd. in Brick. There will be food and games and fun for the entire family. They are looking for teams to play 50 minute games for friendly competition, companies vs. companies, towns vs. towns, or just for fun. A 10 person team is $200 or $20/person and will include a t-shirt and food coupons. If you would like to contribute but not play you can be a sponsor for $200 which will include the name of your business on the back of a t-shirt for the event. It is $200 to sponsor a team. They are also looking for magicians, face painters, balloon artists and others to volunteer their talents for children's activities.
