COLTS NECK, NJ— The Monmouth County Park System is pleased to announce the return of the Dorbrook 500 on Saturday, May 14. Held at Dorbrook Recreation Area, Colts Neck, this unique event features tots age 2-4 using their Cozy Coupe (or similar self-propelled vehicle) for a noncompetitive race. Racers will follow a short marked course on the park’s paved trail. Awards, t-shirts and a healthy post-race snack will be given to all participants. Two and three year-olds will race in Cozy Coupes while four year-olds will race on trikes, bikes or Coupes. Please note that battery powered vehicles will not be allowed.


This year’s Dorbrook 500 takes place on Saturday, May 14 at Dorbrook Recreation Area, Colts Neck.

The race is divided into categories by age. Two year olds will race at 10am; three year olds at 11am and four year olds at 12noon. The cost is $12 per person.
