Tinton Falls, N.J. – United Teletech Financial (UTF) and its members donated $5,000 to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties in support of their efforts to feed those in need. Donations were submitted by members when they took part in UTF’s “Skip A Payment” program, which allowed members to defer a loan payment during the holiday season. That sum was then augmented by a donation from UTF.

“As the community credit union for Monmouth and Ocean Counties, partnering with the FoodBank is just one way to support our mission of helping local people in need,” said Leo R. Ardine, President/CEO of UTF. “We’re very proud that so many of our members were able to take part in the program and help us donate, especially in these trying times.”

The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties helps to feed more than 70,000 local families through more than 270 pantries and soup kitchens. The FoodBank also operates a Culinary Training Program and provides other services that help the community.
