COLTS NECK, NJ - The Colts Neck Community Church is blazing new trails again and December is filled with new activities. One of the highlights this month will be a Live Nativity to celebrate Christmas on the CNCC front lawn. All are invited to join the festivities as members of the Community present the Christmas story with live animals and actors. This outdoor “Christmas Story” depiction will have several showings on Saturday, December 21st at 5:15, 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. Refreshments, music, live animals, and a carol sing-a-long are all a part of this family fun night.
Join CNCC for a visit and Sing-along at Brandywine Senior Living - Sunday, December 8th at 2:00 p.m. Bring the joy of the season to seniors in our community as we carol together and share our time with those who may need it the most at this time of year. Sing, Love and Share with the residents at Brandywine on route 34 in Colts Neck.
A Christmas musical, “The Name…Jesus,” is a truly delightful experience that incorporates a diversity of music styles that children and adults will enjoy. This concert event is being presented at the Church on December 15th at 7:00 p.m. and everyone is invited to attend. Be moved by a community Choir that will lift your spririts in praise.
A traditional Christmas Eve Service will be presented for the community on Tuesday, December 24th @ 6:30 p.m. Come out of the cold to a Candlelight service featuring brass instruments and a hope-filled message for people of all backgrounds, traditions and journeys. Spend a warm night with friends and family as we remember the true reason for the season, the birth of Christ.
All events are free and everyone are always invited. Additional community outreaches will continue to develop within the upcoming months. “Serving our community is a high priority for us here at CNCC. We hope you will join us as we continue to grow” says Pastor Chris Durkin. Last month over 200 people attended the annual Pig Roast and Blue Grass concert on a beautiful Saturady afternoon. “Food was aplenty with home made dishes including a Pig & Turkeys roated on the open grill, a Pie eating contest, Live Music, Super Heros and so much more” said Glen Dalakian a Deacon at the Church.
CNCC has something for everyone seeking more out of life. We offer weekly and monthly programs for teens, college age, young adults, Women’s Bible studies, monthly Men’s Breakfasts, music ministry, and annual retreats. “Above all our desire is that people would know the depth and width of God’s love for them and that love would transform their lives.” states Pastor Chris.
