Freeholders wish everyone a safe, happy July 4th
County offices will be closed on Monday for holiday observance
FREEHOLD – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders wishes everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July weekend, and reminds residents that most county offices will be closed on Monday, July 4 in observance of the holiday. All county parks and golf courses will remain open.

“As our celebration of American independence and freedom takes place with friends and family at picnics, barbecues and fireworks displays, we should remember the brave acts and sacrifices that made this all possible,” Freeholder Director Robert D. Clifton said. “Let us keep in our hearts and minds American patriots and our veterans and members of our Armed Forces soldiers who have fought for us and continue to protect us today.”
