ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - The Atlantic Highlands Chamber of Commerce (AHCC) will hold its second annual Taste of Atlantic Highlands (Trolley Hop) event from noon - 5 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2013, where attendees will ride the trolley and visit all the stops for samplings of delicious food, cocktails, prizes, and give-aways. The AHCC is pulling out all the stops with a classic trolley and shuttle buses to help participants visit all the stops on the map.
 
This year's event will be truly unique, as the AHCC is opening up Veterans Park, which is located in the heart of the business district on First Avenue (where the Farmer's Market is held), to 30 businesses that were impacted by Hurricane Sandy from Sea Bright, Highlands, Red Bank and the surrounding area. Your business can set up in the park and participate as a "stop on the map" and use this opportunity to announce that you've re-opened for business, or will be re-opening shortly.
 
Each participating business will have the opportunity to sell tickets to the event, and keep the profit from their ticket sales ($15 for every ticket sold). Any business that would like to participate in the event must be a member of the AHCC. AHCC membership comes with a full range of benefits. Terms for participation:

Any current AHCC member (not physically located in Atlantic Highlands) or any non-member business that was impacted by Hurricane Sandy:

- $50 vendor fee
- Minimum 5 ticket sales
- Can sell event tickets and keep profit: $15 for every ticket sold.
 
Any business that joins as a new member (must be new member, not a former member):

- No Vendor Fee
- Can sell event tickets and keep profit: $15 for every ticket sold.
- $100 Third Quarter AHCOC Membership (good for the remainder of the year and will allow the member to receive all AHCC benefits.)

This opportunity is available to only 30 storm-affected businesses on a first-come, first served basis and the deadline to sign up is April 15, 2013.  All businesses that would like to participate as a stop on the map at this event, should contact the Atlantic Highlands Chamber of Commerce Events Coordinator Joan Osgoodby at 732-241-4055.
