MIDDLETOWN, NJ – The Middletown Summer Concert Series returns this year with a new sponsor and an all-new line up of talented performers.

The Middletown Township Education Association (MTEA) has pledged $10,000 to sponsor the annual concert series. “We would like to thank the Middletown Township Education Association for their generosity in helping to bring this summer favorite to the community,” said Mayor Anthony P. Fiore.

The Summer Concert Series, hosted by the Middletown Recreation Department and the Middletown Cultural and Arts Council, includes four outdoor shows at Normandy Park . Concerts will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every other Thursday beginning July 12 with Jennifer Mylod. The musical journey continues with The Del Angels on July 26; Funktion 11 on August 9th and RB Express on August 23rd.

Normandy Park is located at 600 Nutswamp Road. In the event of inclement weather, concerts are moved to Middletown South High School. Call the Recreation Department at 732-615-2260 or the Middletown Arts Center at 732-706-4100 for more information.
