On May 17 The Art Society of Monmouth County held its 8th annual luncheon at the Shore Casino located on the beautiful and breath-taking Atlantic Highlands Marina.  The magnificent spring day enhanced the beauty of the seaside surroundings. Toni Wiilszewski served as Luncheon Reservations Chairperson, Lucille Dellert, served as Luncheon Information Chairperson and Marilyn DiSanto, served as the Luncheon Gifts Chairperson.  There was a Silent Auction of Gifts and Artwork and a 50/50 Raffle.  All of the proceeds support programs, guest speakers, art shows and the High School Merit Award Scholarship exhibit as well as other projects that are sponsored by the Art Society.  The Scholarship winners this year were: 1st Place-Angellica Taylor, 2nd Place-Matt Gilliard and 3rd Place-Nicole Estilow.

During the Silent Auction there was a cocktail hour of cheese, humus, fruit and crackers, along with a raw vegetable platter.  It was followed by a lunch of chicken barley soup, mixed greens salad, and a choice of chicken francaise with carrots and twice baked potato, baked fish and mixed vegetables and a vegetable pasta.  Dessert was a New York Style cheesecake followed by tea or coffee.
