OH CHRISTMAS TREE, OH CHRISTMAS TREE! RED BANK DOWNTOWN ALLIANCE SEEKS TREE

PRESS RELEASE

RED BANK, NJ – Red Bank RiverCenter, the downtown business alliance, is looking for a 20 to 25 ft. full Evergreen, preferably Blue Spruce to use as downtown Red Bank’s Christmas Tree for the 2005 Holiday Season. “The holidays and Red Bank go hand and hand,” states Tricia Rumola, Executive Director, Red Bank RiverCenter. “A wonderful holiday atmosphere, excellent customer service, music on the sidewalks and stores with beautiful items for everyone on your gift list” adds Rumola. Each year RiverCenter sends out a request to the public to donate a tree that will be displayed at the Dublin House Courtyard, 30 Monmouth Street from November 20th, 2005 – January 9th, 2006 in the downtown. RiverCenter covers the cost for the removal of the donated tree, and the donating individual or family are recognized at the Red Bank Town and Tree Lighting and Holiday Express concert planned for November 25th. The Christmas Tree will also serve as a location for RiverCenter’s Holiday Harmonies music series scheduled for Saturday afternoons from Thanksgiving to Christmas.

The tree will be removed from the donor’s property and installed at 30 Monmouth Street on Sunday, November 20th with the help of Steve Garcia of The Tree Man, Jim Bruno of Powerhouse Sign Works, Red Bank Department of Public Works and the Red Bank Police Department. Those interested in donating a tree are asked to contact RiverCenter’s office at 732-842-4244.
