RED BANK, NJ — Clearview Cinema will host a special screening of Invasion for Flesh and Blood, the scifi cult classic by Neptune Township filmmaker Warren F. Disbrow, on Thursday, May 19, at 9 p.m. Admission is $7.50 per person. The screening is part of a tribute to Disbrow by Troma Entertainment and will premier a music video for Scarlet Moon, Disbrow’s soon-to-be-released film about a diabolical power struggle among vampires. The event also will feature appearances by Disbrow, who wrote the screenplay; actors Warren Disbrow, Sr., Ruben Santiago, AnnMarie Donato and Dominic Gregoria, and special effects artist Jim Cirronella. Filmed in Monmouth and Ocean counties with an all-Jersey Shore cast and crew, Invasion for Flesh and Blood follows a housewife-turned-cyborg and her teenage sidekick as they seek to destroy flesh-eating, alien invaders. The movie features a performance by Marilyn Ghigliotti, who played Veronica in Kevin Smith’s Clerks. 

Invasion for Flesh and Blood is rated R. Nobody under 17 will be admitted without a parent or adult guardian. Proof of age will be required.
