| COLONEL ROBERT DIDUCH TAKES COMMAND OF CIVIL AIR PATROL'S NEW JERSEY WING |
McGUIRE AFB, NJ — Colonel Robert Didich, recently accepted the position of Commander to Civil Air Patrol's, New Jersey Wing, on McGuire Air Force Base.
Colonel Diduch, has been serving as the Northeast Region Director of Operations and NJ Wing Counter Drug Officer. His time at Northeast Region has been a gratifying experience. He believes that he has grown as a result of working with the Northeast Region staff and has formed invaluable professional relationships and has expanded his understanding of this extraordinary organization.
He has held NJ Wing positions of Chief Pilot/Standards and Evaluation Officer and Director of Operations. During the past eleven years, CAP has provided him with an opportunity to work with the military to train and instruct in areas such as cadet services, aerospace, emergency services and aviation.
Colonel Diduch's first encounter with this volunteer group was at the Twin Pine Squadron at Mercer County Air (TNN). As Operations Officer he quickly accepted the challenge and has never looked back. For two-years, he participated with a former NJ Wing Commander in the development and coordination for the creation and recruitment of the NJ Wing Legislative Squadron.
Since taking his first aviation flight over twenty-eight years ago, Colonel select Diduch; has achieved the following aviation ratings: Air Transport Pilot (ATP), Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI), and Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII). In recent years, he has worked as a charter pilot and as a certified flight instructor.
Colonel Diduch, is looking forward to this new and exciting challenge and believes that his back ground in aviation, business management, and entrepreneur experience will contribute to the continued success of the NJ Wing to meet and exceed the needs of this volunteer organization.
