GOLF I.D. CARDS GO ON SALE AT THE MONMOUTH COUNTY PARK SYSTEM GOLF COURSE

COLTS NECK,  NJ  Beginning Friday, March 1, Golf I.D. cards for Monmouth County Park System golf courses will be on sale at all county courses. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily until courses open for play on Friday, March 15.

Bel-Aire and Shark River Golf Courses are open year round. To purchase a card, prospective golfers must provide two forms of identification; at least one must be a primary form. Primary forms of identification for Resident I.D. Cards include a New Jersey Driver's license or a current Monmouth County property tax bill with applicant's name and street address (please present current driver's license when using a property tax bill). Secondary forms of identification include; last year's Golf I.D. card, a vehicle registration card, a voter registration card, a New Jersey hunting and/or fishing license with name and address that matches the primary form of I.D. used. Utility bills, bank statements, and credit cards are not acceptable. The cost of the Resident I.D. Card is $25.00.

The Golf I.D. Card is needed to make reservations at Charleston Springs, Hominy Hill, Howell Park, Pine Brook, and Shark River Golf Courses, although one tee time per hour is reserved for walk-on players. Bel-Aire Golf Course is a walk on, first come – first served facility. For more information, call (732) 842-4000. The TDD machine number for persons with hearing impairment is (732) 219-9484.
